I think the reason so many people liked the idea of Wolf coming back because, as a series, they put a lot of value on people being in relationships. When a character, like say Loretta, was single, people didn’t really accept it as something normal. Also, everyone in the last episode had paired up, except for Cheryl, and it was implied (or at least I think so) that they didn’t need her anymore because basically they’d found substitutes. We also just want Cheryl to be happy, and we assume that the way she can be happy is to be with Wolf, her one true love. But after hearing all you loves’ opinions, I’m beginning to see that her being alone is probably one of the best things for her. Everyone around has grown up and ready to be independent, so she should be able to do the same

#rant despite being terribly ill and bedridden. 

“Cheryl deserved better. Yes, I loved them as a couple, but I like to think she finally got time to sort herself out. She went from one shit relationship she never healed from into another shit relationship that was impacted by her issues. I like to think of her as being an independent, strong women who finally has the time to herself now everyone had sorted themselves out.”

I think you make a very good point anon. She’d never really been alone, and the final episode was the perfect time in her life for her to be without a man, because she was always the one who had to take care of everyone else, and then in the last episode everyone was doing there own thing, so she finally had some time for herself…

I’m in transit to London, I’ll be there for about 7 months, then I’m returning to Aotearoa in late January for University. At the moment though, I’m in Sweden.

I just want to let you all know that I am no longer living in New Zealand. I’m telling you guys this just because there is a 12 hour time difference between where I am and NZ. I will of course still be running this blog, but unfortunately I won’t be able to post them as soon as you send them, but if you check this blog regularly I would have made it while you were getting your beauty sleep!

Hahaha I’m glad! And I guess second favourite would be a tie between Van and Munter, although at different places in the series. Like I’m totally in love with Van when he’s in a relationship (even with Sheree), simply because he’s such a darling. And I really loved Munter up until he got with Kasey, just because he was also so sweet.
